Weigh in - 4.8 lbs lost and a #5Kin100days update

Last Week's Weight - 259.8

This Week's Weight - 255.0

4.8 pounds LOST

74.4 pounds lost since June 2010

I'm very content in being back to my pre-vacation weight (less 0.8 lbs). It only took me a week and while I haven't been tracking my food, and a few unsavory things slipped in this week, I have been eating consciously though not totally on plan.

I had 5 days of great workouts this week. I did all my 5Kin100days runs and 2 days of bootcamp. Now that bootcamp is over, I have to find a way to recreate the burn I got from that class at least once a week.

I had two milestones during my runs this week. 1) I ran for 10 minutes straight during a my second session. And 2) I was able to complete all SIX of my 5 minute intervals yesterday on a hillier than normal course (hello, Mt. Crumpet), officially completing a "more running than walking" session. I can't believe we're on week 10 already!

Happy Sunday!

Rock on Emily! That's awesome. It took me more than a week to lose my vacation gain but it feels good to be back on track.

Have a kick ass week!

Awesome job on the run Emily! Intervals are not fun. I came upon your blog from Duct Tape Wedding Ring and have enjoyed reading through your past posts. I too am working on a weight loss journey that I started just a few months ago when I turned 30.

I admire that you have finished 2 half marathons. That is a goal I have someday, not sure when, but someday. I also love that you are going to run a warrior dash. Back in June I did the Dirty Dash 5k and will be doing it again in September. I loved how much fun running became during those events.

Best of luck in your journey and keep up the good work!

Josh, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read! Doing a half-marathon is a great goal to have if you are interested in endurance events. I've enjoyed learning to run this summer, myself so I can't wait to test running at an event at Warrior Dash.
