Food log 11/9/11

Is this getting boring for everyone yet? Truthfully, it's been a good exercise. I haven't been tracking for several months and although there are pros and cons to tracking, it definitely yields results.

Wednesday:

Grande Soy Latte from Starbucks (breakfast); Keebler Jumbo Peanut Butter Stick & half a small can of OJ (post-blood draw snack); banana (snack); 3 fish tacos & 1/2 cup black beans (lunch); Apple & 1 snack size bag of Chex Mix (snack); Veggie Corn Dog, Sweet Potato Fries and Salad (Dinner); Fit and Active mint ice cream sandwich (dessert)

Total Calories: 1,979

A bit higher than the rest of the week, but still under 2,000 which is the bottom line goal. The snack after my blood giving threw me off then while I was waiting at Firestone for my car I was starving and scarfed down the Chex Mix. I'm actually proud I didn't eat anything after the ice cream sandwich last night because I so wanted to. I just wanted to eat, eat, eat last night. Instead I made some warm water with a slice of lemon. That seems to knock the cravings out a bit at night.

I rearranged my workouts for the rest of the week. I'm doing Friday/Sunday again because I have to go buy new tires on Saturday morning and I have to be somewhere else by 9:30 so I just didn't have time to get tires, run AND make it to a friend's house by 9:30.

My main focus now is getting through the weekend with no slip-ups (and maybe lose 2 more lbs before Sunday). Gah, wish me luck!

I actually enjoy the food logs. I enjoy seeing what others are eating to reach their goals and many times find new ideas to freshen up my own menu. Keep 'em coming!
